The Love Dare for friends!!!

I will add one step daily for 40 days….It will improve all relationships to try!

Day 1- Say only positive things to your friends!

Day 2- do something nice

Day 3- don’t be selfish. Put your friend’s needs first!!!!

Day4- Love is considerate. Go out of your way for your friend.

Day 5- Love is not rude. Even if you are…………..

Day 6- Love is not irritable. Proverbs 16:32 ” He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city”

Day 7- Love is not jealous. Proverbs 27:4 “Wrath is fierce and anger is a flood” Don’t be jealous of the success of others!

Day 8- Love is patient. Eph. 4:2 ” Be humble and gentle; be patient bearing with one another in love”. Good rules for families or friends! Do you remember how patient  Jesus was with his disciples? Think of teaching a child to play a game. How rewarding in the end.

Day 9- Love makes good impressions! Act like you care about the person! This is your friend. Show enthusiasm! “greet one another with a kiss of love”, 1 Peter 5:4. Appropriate affection is……….appropriate!

Day 10- Love is unconditional. “while we were sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8. Your friends deserve your love because you choose to give it to them. You may have to adjust activities in relationships but can still love and care about others.

  1. Thank you so much for this. It is a great reminder. I look forward to the next 34. I started to read the book, but didn’t finish because I try to read too many books at once. I did see the movie Fireproof and it really opened my eyes. I think it is good to be reminded of how we should treat each other and how to love each other – God’s way! I haven’t done so up until this point, but I will pray for you and the work you put into Launch Singles webpage and I will pray that many singles will be touched and hearts will be changed by it and that God will be glorified through it. You have certainly touched mine and I thank you for that. May God Bless you and all the effort that you put into the singles ministry.

  2. Thanks Julie! We all need reminders of how God would like us to act toward one another! Thanks for your kindness and encouragement!
