The B.I.G. S**W (Belief in GOD Singles Weekend) will be at the Coronado Springs Resort, Walt DISNEY WORLD, Florida.
January 29-31, 2010
Details: Rooms on site at Coronado Resort will be $99 and rooms at the Allstar Sports Resort (closeby-basic) will be $59. You will make your own reservation by December 28, 2009. the code needed is Go550472 . The best phone # to call is (407) 939-1020.
Conference cost will be $60 individual OR $50 (3 or more on one check) by Nov. 25 (as this is the food and beverage deadline for meeting the minimum) . Friday Jan. 29:
ICE CREAM SOCIAL at THE CONCORD CHURCH OF CHRIST, ORLANDO from 6-8 PM (all ages) or College and Young Professionals Social at METRO CHURCH, OVIEDO with Ascension Day @8pm
Saturday Jan. 30:
Sign-in, Social and Singing starts at 8am. Lessons on Belief and IN GOD to follow. Dr. Anthony Fischetto, Forensic Psychologist is your keynote!! LUNCH is provided the day of conference (it will be VERY NICE). Inexpensive choices for breakfast and dinner close by.
Breakout groups and free time all afternoon. Return at 7pm for devotional, Entertainment by Christian Rock Band, ASCENSION DAY!
Sunday Jan. 31:
Worship service on site at 8:30 am -and- dismiss to enjoy DISNEY or recreate (hopefully in groups of new/old friends!)

It will be! Dr. Anthony Fischetto will have one session. Mike Gurganus and Reggie Minor are songleaders! Breakout groups let by Donnie Dillon (UCCC-UF), Ed Humphries (Gateway), Bekki McKinney (Florida College/SCU), Ken Jones (Melbourne) and Mike & Kate Gurganus and Tony and Tina Giardino.

What time of day will the pre-conference worship parties be on Friday at the area churches? Will the list of churches and the time be mad public? I ask due to travel arrangements that need to be made from the west coast. The three hour time difference requires adjustments in flights and so forth.

What age groups of singles usually attend? I am 53 and I have never attended the Launch retreats.

In response to Debie Layne’s post, I have been to single’s retreats at Central Florida Bible Camp and have gone to the large one in Atlanta back in the later 80’s but have never been to launch. I just turned 50 this past summer so we are about the same age. You should definitely come. I will look forward to meeting you there! Gwen
